We started April off with the Rice Wedding at Salt Creek Beach in Dana Point. This was an amazing surf style themed destination beach wedding that had lots of dancing, great food, and of course that perfect Southern California beach weather. With beach balls tossed at end of ceremony, to sunglasses handed out by the bride & groom for party favors, it truly was a amazing wedding. Priscilla Granger & her team from “At Your Service” did excellent job of coordination to make sure everything went perfect!
One of our all time favorite weddings of 2011, happened to be the wedding of Silvia & Bryan at the Historic Cottage in San Clemente. The groom Bryan built the arch they got married under and Silvia added her touch by hanging bright ribbon from it. Silvia & Bryan also potted succulent plants to double as escort cards/favors. Bryan found the cake stump on a slope near their house, hauled it back to their place, cut it to size, polyurethaned it and then he carved their initials on it. This truly amazing & beautiful wedding had it all! Silvia & Bryan are some of the most amazing clients that I have had the pleasure to cater for. With shots at the bar, curse words, crazy dancing and lots bear style hugs all around.

There are a few details to remember when you’re going seaside and having a Beach Wedding.
The optimal time for your ceremony is late afternoon, about 90 minutes before the sunset. Photographers find this to be their magic hour, because their able to capture the best quality of light.
One of the most important aspects of a Wedding on the Beach is “Stay Hydrated”
During warmer months, make sure that plenty of water is provided for guests & staff, a nice twist to
just plain water is Adding some citrus fruits or cucumber for more flavor. Investing in some umbrellas is always a good idea to have on hand in case of a shower or just use them as shade for your guests to stay nice and cool.
